TPM is a concept emerging in production plants to improve/optimize a production process. It deals with task that is needed to maintain the production environment.The main objectives of TPM are

i) to maintain, manage all the maintenance task
ii) to use the idle time (because of production problems)
iii) to optimize production process – analyze errors, find out the most common errors and to detect the week points of a plant.

The system helps to maintain the production plan and work plan for a particular year. The system also helps to calculate the efficiency of each plants and gives proper solution for its improvement.The system uses system-generated graphs and charts to represent history data.The end-user of the system are provided with access cards for user access.

The system uses MAPI for user messaging, IPC like Socket Communication between TPM clients and Wintouch Server and Mail slot among TPM clients.
