The Worker Security System is intended to provide complete security for persons working in empty rooms in any laboratory/factory. The purpose of this security system is to monitor the position and condition of a worker located in any of the rooms in a factory from the Central Control Room or a remotely located PC. The system will have additional provisions for raising alarm in case of emergency.

The system consists of a main control unit to be placed in the Control Room and is connected to a computer for data manipulation, handling and display and sub-control units for attaching to individual workers. The sub control units have multiple sensors attached to them for collection of dynamic data regarding position and condition of the worker. The processing of output of the Main Control Unit through a computer enables customized display as well as monitoring through remote computers. The connection between main control unit and sub-control unit can be physical or wireless enabled by a short range Radio Frequency link. The Sensors integrated with the system are – navigation sensor, lifeboat sensor, and panic button. The navigation sensor again consists of GPS, Acceleration sensor and Geomagnetic sensor.
